I recently stayed at the Oakland Marriott City Center for two nights, and while there were positives, a few downsides detracted from my overall experience. The check-in process was efficient, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel. However, I found the restaurant options overpriced, and I encountered some noise disturbances that affected my comfort. 🌟

The friendly staff truly made me feel welcome. yet, I found my overall experience tarnished by management's lack of communication regarding ongoing issues, like the strike and closed amenities. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the noise from outside and the absence of basic services like room service definitely impacted my stay.

However, the check-in process was slow, and the parking fees felt quite steep at $50 per night. The gym facilities were impressive, but some aspects of my room, especially the bathroom, need an update.
